This Saturday November we will hold our annual Mother/Daughter volleyball party.
Schedule:
4:30-5:30: Mother/Daughter Volleyball in the gym
5:30-6:00: Pizza @ School
6:00- Head up to Boulder for CU volleyball game.
6:30- CU vs Baylor
We should return to school around 9:00pm. You are welcome to come to some or all of the party. The cost is $5/person. This will cover the ticket price and pizza. If you would just like to come for pizza the cost is $3, the CU game is $2. Please RSVP to to Miss Presser by Thursday if you are able to make it or not! Any questions see Miss P.
Although we don’t want to think about it, winter weather is not far away. For snow emergencies or other school closing information, please look to our website. Every effort will be made to have the announcement on the web by 6:30 a.m. Teachers will also be calling each students home starting at 6:30 a.m. Please note that if the Denver Public Schools cancel classes because of inclement weather conditions, then RMLHS is automatically closed as well. Because RMLHS serves families from as far south as Highlands Ranch, as far west as Evergreen, and as far north as Longmont, it is very difficult to determine when inclement weather conditions are widespread enough to warrant the canceling of classes. Therefore, parents, you will need to determine if your son or daughter should remain home, even if school is in session. We honor excuses from parents who choose to do this.

On Tuesday, December 2, RMLHS will have the special opportunity to play its first games of this year’s basketball season vs. Hyland Christian at the Pepsi Center! Our teams will have the floor from 1:00-5:00. The Nuggets play the Toronto Raptors that evening at 7:00.
Purchase of a discounted ticket will help support the RMLHS Booster Club and Athletic Department. You may come to our games and stay for the Nuggets, just go to our games, or just go to the Nuggets game. Prices for the tickets are $55, $30, $20, and $10. They are subject to availability as we have been given a block of each price. It will be first come, first served. There are only 20 seats reserved for us at the $10 price. Tickets will be available for you to purchase at our Fall Sports Awards night on Friday, Nov. 7. They will also be available to purchase at your congregation soon. Christ Our Redeemer Lutheran Church (17700 E. Iliff Ave. Aurora, 80013) is hosting a self defense class for girls and women high school aged and up on Sunday, November 2, from 1 - 4 p.m. The class of one-on-one instruction from qualified martial arts instructors is FREE.
