Ministry Anniversary

On Sunday, March 7, all are invited to join in giving thanks to the Lord of the Church for the blessings he has bestowed on, and through, the ministry of Mr. Michael Schaefer, currently serving at Rocky Mountain Lutheran High School (RMLHS). While most would celebrate a person’s twenty-fifth anniversary during their twenty-fifth year of service, we have decided to celebrate it in his twenty-seventh year. The festivities will begin with a service of thanksgiving at 2:30pm, at Zion Lutheran Church (2600 S Wadsworth Blvd, Denver). Following the service, there will be a reception, with various presentations, in the fellowship hall. Appetizers will be served. A free-will offering will be gathered to cover the cost of the appetizers; any gifts beyond expenses will be donated to the RMLHS Scholarship Fund. Those who cannot attend are invited to send cards and letters to Zion Lutheran Church ATTN: Michael Schaefer 2600 S Wadsworth Blvd, Denver, CO 80227.

Extended Calls

The Board of Directors is pleased to announce that Mr. Schaefer has accepted the call to serve as the assistant principal of Rocky Mountain Lutheran High School.  In addition the Board voted to extend a permanent call to Ms Muente.  She is currently serving under a one-year call to the high school.  This is asking her to consider serving here on a full-time basis.  We thank God for leading Mr. Schaefer to his decision and ask the Lord’s blesssings on Ms. Muente as she considers her call.
