Federation Meeting
Last Sunday, February 8th, a special delegates meeting was held to update the delegates on the first quarter happenings at the high school. The first main point was the site committee of the Board seeking input for possible sites for a permanent location for the high school. There are many factors that weigh in on this decision, so the committee listened to the concerns and opinions of the delegates.
A second point was to present the financial condition of the school. Our enrollment is five students less than the number used for the 2009-2010 budget. That shortfall needs to be covered by additional support from individual donors or congregations. So, the Board will need to address how to encourage individuals and congregations to increase their support.
Call Extended
In their November meeting, the RMLHS Board of Directors voted to extend a permanent call to Mr. Lohmiller to serve as the principal of the high school. He currently is serving as the interim principal. This call is asking him to consider serving full-time in that position. You are encouraged to speak with him personally, or send an e-mail on your thoughts on whether you feel he would be the right man for the position. His e-mail address is rlohmiller@rmlhs.org.
