Another Win for RMLHS Football
Saturday, the Football team played Silver State in an exciting game. It was a great team effort with several team members ill or recovering from an illness. There were many big plays which led the Eagles to a 50-28 victory.
Come cheer on your team at home this Saturday (10/3) in their Homecoming game against Faith Baptist and then again next Saturday (10/10) against Gilpin County.
Giving Plus Coming to an End
Giving Plus is a Thrivent Financial for Lutherans program through which Thrivent will match one dollar for every two dollars donated to an educational institution. This program is available to anyone who has a Thrivent policy, but the program will end in December 2009. If you are interested in increasing your gift to the high school with this matching fund program, you will need to act soon. Contact Mrs. Ranger in the school office if you would like more information.
Pep Rally
Get ready to cheer. The Student Senate thought it would be a different idea to invite parents and other interested fans to our Homecoming Pep Rally on Thursday, October 1. The pep rally will be held in the gym after the girls volleyball games vs. Rocky Mountain Hebrew Academy. Classes will perform their lip sync competitions, the pep band will play, and coaches will speak about their teams. Come to the game to cheer on our volleyball team and than stay for the pep rally.
Mid-Quarter
This Friday we are midway through the first quarter. Our PowerSchool program allows parents to check on their child’s grades each day, so we don’t send out an official mid-quarter report. You are encouraged to check on your child’s grades and contact any teacher for whom you have a question.
To access PowerSchool simply go to the RMLHS website at www.rmlhs.org. In the left hand margin there is a link to PowerSchool. Click on that link and enter the username and password that were sent you in the mail.
