RMLHS Memo

Our fall sports events begin this next week.  Please  come to support your Eagles!  The athletes and coaches truly appreciate it.  Our schedules are posted on our website, and we will be updating directions to our away games in the memo as they are coming up.  Our home football field will be at Prairie View High School which is on 120th just east of Hwy. 85.  Admission to all our 5280 league events, home and away, will be  $5.00 for adults and $3.00 for students and seniors.  Our students will not have to pay for our home events.  You may wonder what the admission helps to pay.  It helps defray the costs of officials/referees and gym/field rental.  Varsity volleyball officials each get $44.00 per game and JV officials get $32.50 per game.  The 5 football officials each get $55.00 per game.  Our gym rental cost is $16.00 per hour and our football field/locker room rental will be $300-$400 per game.  Once again, thanks for your support, and we look forward to seeing and hearing you at our games!  GO EAGLES!

• Then, if necessary, contact Mr. Barenz.

I have concerns about finances or financial aid?

• First contact our bookkeeper Mrs. Ranger.
• If necessary, contact Mr. Lowers, our treasurer.

I want to express praise, make a comment, or vent frustrations?

• First contact the teacher that is most closely involved.
• Then, if necessary, contact Mr. Barenz.

I have concerns regarding my child’s academic progress?

• First contact the teachers of the classes that you are concerned about.
• Another good contact is Mr. Lohmiller.

I have concerns about athletics or coaching decisions?

• First contact the coach.
• Then, if necessary, contact Athletic Director Mr. Schaefer.

I have questions about general school policies?

• First contact the school office:  talk to Mrs. Ebert.
• Then, if necessary, talk to Mr. Barenz.

I have questions about planning for college?

• Contact Mr. Barenz.

I have questions about my child’s schedule?

• Contact Mr. Lohmiller.

I want to request spiritual guidance and/or counseling for my child?

• Contact your home congregation pastor.  RMLHS provides counseling through Mr. Barenz or Pastor Walta, but we want to involve you home pastor, too.

Hi Parents,

I will be coordinating the orders for our school spirit wear.  Orders will be placed on Tues., Aug. 26th for hats and t-shirts.  The hats are black with gold accent piping, an eagle head on the front and RMLHS on the back band.  The t-shirts are black with RMLHS in school colors and an eagle head on the front, and the back neck of the shirt will be the word “eagles” printed in white.
